Local Artist, Kym Festa aka Kym Pfannkuch graduated with a BFA-Graduated Magna Cum Laude from PAIER College of Art in CT. Following graduation she then worked in the fields of Computer & Traditional Design, & Illustrated a Children’s book “Poppy’s Plate Full Of Smiles”.

Recently in 2010, Kym decided to get back into painting Murals.  During college, Kym was trained in more traditional styles of painting such as trompe l'oeil - A French term literally meaning "trick the eye”, but her studies covered many medium and many styles. She painted murals as part time work during her years in Art School and is now available for hire for Murals or Faux Painting indoors or out.

Outdoor murals can include paintings of landscape scenery, animals, portraits, historical themed compositions, abstract, cartoon and whimsical paintings for your home or business. The paint used will withstand the sun & elements for a much longer period of time than other materials such as vinyl. Faux painting is available for indoors for things such as glazes, metallics, textures & outdoors including pool decks and patios to create looks such as stone or other simulated materials.
